Oksana and Egor live across the street from me on Farmstead Rd in North Syracuse, NY. Last night, Friday, May 16, their house caught fire. They were asleep, and neighbors walking by saw the flames and smoke. They banged on the house and yelled to the family, who were trapped by smoke. Thank God they were able to escape with the help of the fire department. Their dog didn’t survive, and their cat is missing. They have lost everything and are living in a hotel, trying to figure out how to move forward. Please, if you can help in any way, it would be monumental to their recovery. They are such a wonderful family, and my heart is broken for them.
