Hi! I'm Carly & OJ is my ex husband. We are still great friends. Anyone who knows OJ knows he is the biggest sweetheart & a stellar human being.
OJ is seeking to improve his quality of life by getting stem cell therapy for his Parkinsons Disease.
OJ started having tremors in early 2016. In 2018 he was misdiagnosed with essential tremor. He was properly diagnosed in August of 2021 with Parkinsons Disease. Getting on the proper medication for his condition did help some. In November of 2022, OJ had focused ultrasound brain surgery which did help with the tremors. But you can only have that procedure done for one side of the body & now he is experiencing worsening tremors on the other side of his body.
Parkinsons is a progressive disease that majorly impacts OJ's quality of life. The tremors make it difficult for him to do normal things we take for granted such as eating with silverware, writing, texting, driving, walking. The Parkinsons also causes slow, slurred speech, drooling, severe anxiety/inability to relax. Parkinsons greatly affects OJ's ability to walk. His toes curl. His gait is awkward & lumbering. And, according to OJ, the worst part is that he suffers from chronic pain 24/7.
Last September Parkinsons caused OJ to fall & he cracked his kneecap. He has since had 3 knee surgeries. OJ has been laid up, unable to walk, leave the house or drive until recently. He still uses a walker to get around & is unable to straighten his leg.
OJ is going to receive stem cell therapy through Stem Cell of America on August 17th, 2024!
He is extremely excited at the prospect of this treatment radically improving his quality of life! Any improvement in symptoms would be miraculous!
OJ has poured over numerous testimonials of others with Parkinsons who have reclaimed their lives after stem cell therapy. One woman was a dancer who could not even walk anymore but is now ecstatic to be dancing again after stem cell therapy!
Please help OJ with the cost of this treatment if you can swing it. Any amount is helpful & greatly appreciated.
Much love & gratitude
