Help Oisín Access Gender Affirming Care

Hi, my name is Oisín (he/they). I have been contemplating Gender Affirming Care for over a year now. However, the public service is very difficult to access (i.e. a waitlist of 5-10 years).

I would really like to access medical care (masculinising hormones) through GenderGp, I will outline the costs involved below.

I feel very strongly that this is a path I want to follow, and have considered 'DIY/self-medding', as I really didn't think I would ever be able to afford an official care provider.

The cost-of-living crisis has decimated my financial resources. In addition, I am disabled and currently unable to work.

€300 would pay for my initial assessment by Gender GP, and a year of care would cost €1600-2000. While I have set my goal to the higher range, I would be delighted to access even an initial assessment.

Any excess funds from this GoFundMe will be paid forward to the gender affirming care of other trans folk.
