Help O’Hara represent Team USA in Colombia

My name is O’Hara Shipe and I was recently named to Team USA Inline and will be competing at the PanAmerican Games in Ibague, Colombia in early August.
The only downside is that due to a lack of funding, athletes are responsible for covering the cost of their airfare, lodging, jerseys and meals. So, it’s quite a hefty lift.
While I’m DoorDashing and working at the rink to offset some of the costs, the only way I’ll be able to afford to go is through the generosity of friends and family.
You may be wondering why a 38-year-old is even putting themselves out there like this. Well, simply put, I see this as an amazing second chance at what I was unable to achieve in my 30 year ice career — and those chances don’t come a third time.
Wearing your nation’s jersey at international competition is the ultimate honor for any athlete and I hope that you’ll consider helping me make this a reality.
