Help offsetting Kitty's Veterinary bill
Donation protected
Hey everyone! Felipe here. As some of you might know, I recently adopted a cat. She's Kitty, a lovely 7-year old cat that needed a new home since her previous owner would not be able to take her abroad with her. She loves playing outdoors, having grown up next to a park, often adventuring on her own, so living in a house with green spaces was really important to her previous owner. She's lovely and very independent, friendly and as obedient as a cat could be. Since she's been with us for a brief period, we haven't been able to get her under insurance yet.
Unfortunately, last week she started to feel sick, and lethargic, eating less and less as days went by. After noticing she was struggling using her litter box we rushed her to the Vet, where she got a full workup and while they couldn't be conclusive, they think it might be an infection, so she's currently under meds. Furthermore, they found she needs dental care soon, as she's developing periodontitis in some of her teeth.
So far her bills have been $850, and these costs include her blood work, x-ray and antibiotics. We are unsure how much more treatment she will need. Currently, I'm supporting her with my part-time job, so it's a steep unexpected bill. Alongside my partner, we are working on providing her to the best of our abilities, as new pet owners and we hope to give her a long and happy life. If you can spare, please help us get her back to health!
Thank you all for taking the time to read and helping Kitty during this tough time!
