Help Offset Mikey Otero’s Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I am fundraising for my cousin Mikey! The last few months have been extremely difficult for our family, as Mike has been battling liver failure. An important part of Mike's treatment in keeping his levels stable (and keeping him out of the hospital again) is to get drained of toxins biweekly. Since his liver cannot function independently, he must get this done regularly to avoid sepsis and other infections. He also needs to be on regular medication to keep his organs working correctly to give his liver a chance to fight back. To make things more complicated, Mike is currently without insurance meaning all treatments and medications are being paid out of pocket. My cousin is a strong-willed, proud man who would never ask anyone for help, so those of you who know Mike, we ask that you respect his privacy during this time and do not share this fundraiser with him. All funds collected will be given to my Aunt (Patti Otero), who is paying his medical expenses to help offset the costs.
