Rick's journey has taken a challenging turn as he battles stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma, caused by a BRAF mutation.

Since his diagnosis in August 2021, Rick has demonstrated incredible strength and determination, continuing to uphold his oath to serve the community. His inspiring spirit has touched the lives of many, and now he needs our support more than ever.

After over two years of relentless trials and treatments, the devastating news has come that all previous treatments have failed, and Rick's condition is considered terminal by his medical team. But there is a glimmer of hope - a treatment option in Texas that has not yet been tried. This could be Rick's last chance for a treatment that might shrink the masses and allow him to keep serving the community he loves.

The funds raised will go directly to Rick and his wife Heather to relieve the financial burden of travel, lodging, this critical treatment in Texas, and other associated costs related to this aggressive cancer.
