Help Officer O'Rear's Son
Donation protected
Officer Christina O'Rear, the person who helps anyone in need now needs our help. O'Rear's son, Patrick, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Patrick is currently in the ICU where they hope to stabilize his treatment and return him to the Oncology floor.
Patrick O'Rear is an 18 year old who just graduated 9th in his class at GCISD Collegiate Academy and was set to attend Texas A & M to major in Engineering. A sharp pain in his lower back and his legs sent him to the doctor where he was later diagnosed with Leukemia. Patrick is a 3rd degree black belt in karate so we have no doubt he will "Karate Kick Cancer's butt!"
Patrick has a long road ahead since this journey will be approximately 2 year treatment plan.
To help ease some of the financial burden, we have set up this Go Fund Me page. If you feel compelled to help, donations can be made here.
On behalf of Patrick, and the rest of the O'Rear family, THANK YOU for your support.
On a side note, Christina gives so much to our city, our department and especially OFFICERS. Let us return the love that she has shown over her 25 years of service.
*Please lift his family up in prayer as they battle this awful disease and remember that this treatment is even harder through COVID as many of the support systems are not allowed to be present at the hospital.
