Help Officer Joshua Wilson & Family

In the early morning hours of 2/5/2020, I received a phone call that one of my employees (Officer Joshua Wilson) and his family lost everything in a house fire. This is devastating news compelled me to look to the community in which he serves for help.

Officer Wilson is always willing to help Wherever he can and is always volunteering his time to the city of Greensboro helping in the community. During the thanksgiving holidays he came in my office with the idea of passing out turkeys to the community. The turkey drive was a success and we were able to feed 32 families.

Officer Wilson is married with 2 children, a daughter age 5, and a son who is only four months old. As you can imagine they are in need of everything. The Red Cross has placed them in a hotel room. As far as we know own they are in need of the basic necessities like clothing, shoes, toiletries, diapers, formula etc. If you would like to donate goods, please contact my Administrative Assistant Tramekia Saunders at the Greensboro Police Department [phone redacted].
