This is for my coworker and friend officer Botello of the the South Houston Police Department. On March 27, 2026 he was shot in the line of duty in the head on a high risk traffic stop after the driver fled a traffic stop. While he is expected to survive this grave injury, he is need of community support to get himself and his family through this difficult time and long road to recovery. As president of the South Houston Police Officer Association president and with the blessing of Officer Botello, I was given permission to set this GoFundMe up so those who have been asking how to donate directly to him and his family, now can.
