Help us recognize and support a great guy and all he has done not only for the City of Boston, with his dedication as a Boston Police officer, but as a great friend and amazing husband and father to four beautiful girls.

As many of you may know, Dave was in an accident during motorcycle training for the Boston Police Department with an awful break of his tibial plateau. This was 2 years ago and since then he has had over 4 surgeries and a massive blood clot that he could have died from as a result. In addition, he just recently has had another surgery to try and repair bone and cartilage damages caused by the accident.

You would never know by talking to Dave and his wife Erin that things have been tough as they are some of the most positive people you will meet. But times have been hard.

Like most of us Dave’s ability to work overtime was important to the needs of his family and unfortunately, workers compensation doesn’t take any of this in to account.

So that is why we, his friends and family, are asking everyone to come out and support Dave, Erin and their four beautiful children because he/they have always been there for us.

Dave (aka "Beef") has a long road ahead in recovery but with our support he will will back on his feet being his old self again. Remember every little bit counts and no donation is too small.
