I and so many others have been honored to have this woman in our lives. Ofelia Salinas is one of the kindest, loving, giving, most hardworking, and great human beings I know. She was a godsend into my life 19 years ago and is like family. We have watched our children grow up into young adults, and she has always put family first.

She bravely left a marriage, raised two children as a single mother, recently became a new grandmother, and has always given her all to her family here and afar in Monterey, MX.

Overnight, her life, her children’s lives, and ours have changed by the terrible “C” word… Cancer.

She finished her day cleaning two houses on Monday and overnight could not move/lost parts of her speech. She was taken to UHS and tests were run. A brain tumor was found. Doctors are still determining the best plan to treat.

She will have a long road ahead of her as she battles this terrible disease. She is strong, she is faithful, and she is a fighter. Her longtime career as a superstar house cleaner will be put on pause as she fights for her life.
