Help Odyssey Team to World Finals

Odyssey of the Mind is an experience like no other! This team of 4th and 5th graders from Founders Memorial School in Essex, VT started as a group of 6 very different individuals who approached thinking and taking action to solve problems in VERY different ways. But on March 18th they came together as a creative, like-minded TEAM who collaborated to produce a solution that was energetic and FUN, winning praise from the judges for their humor and style. To their own astonishment, they also won 2nd place at the Vermont State Tournament!

Now they have just a few weeks to raise the funds needed to get them to the World Finals in Michigan.  Again the team, along with their coaches and parents, has come together with determination and creative problem-solving to raise funds for the trip. As one strategy we are asking people who know us & love us (or who just think it is cool for kids to use their brains to solve problems) to donate what they can to help us make it. Any amount would be great. THANK YOU!

It has been and continues to be a PRIVILEGE to act as a coach for these  exciting young thinkers and doers. As the deadline for registration drew near we made the decision to proceed, and I completed the registration process with personal funds. In order to continue fundraising, I will take responsibility for withdrawing funds and depositing them with the PTO so that all Essex teams can benefit. This process is outside of GoFundMe.
