Our Odyssey of the Mind team is made up of Drew, Macie, Kinley, Timmy, Ayesha, Scarlette, and Gianna. We participate in a STEM-driven competition that challenges us to solve problems creatively and demonstrate technical skills through a skit. We also take part in a group think tank where we collaborate to find solutions, and the team with the best answers wins for both sections of the event.

We have grown together as a team from kindergarten through 5th grade. After years of dedication, we finally took First Place in our Regional Competitions. Most recently, we won First Place in the Florida State Odyssey of the Mind (OM) 2026 Competition. Now, we have the opportunity to compete at the OM World Finals at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa on May 27th. This is the dream we have pursued since we began our journey as a team.

Winning First Place in our State for the Elementary Division is an extraordinary achievement, and our team is extremely excited to participate in this global opportunity. At the World Finals, we will meet competitors from across the United States and around the world. This is a unique experience for our kids, who have worked tirelessly to develop their story, construct props, and use their minds to solve problems. Odyssey of the Mind is one of the best ways to engage kids in STEM.

We are asking for your support because we have less than two weeks to raise funds needed for our registration fees, accommodation, and travel expenses.
