Help Odin get surgery on his knee
Donation protected
Back in February of 2020, I rescued a 3 month old pit bull boxer that was born missing one eye and is virtually blind in the other. Despite the obstacles thrown in his way his way since birth, he tackles whatever is thrown at him head on (sometimes literally).
Everywhere he goes, he charges in like he owns the place, wanting to play with every person and dog he meets. He is the only dog I've ever seen that happily goes to the vet. Even when he first got hurt and couldn't put any weight on his one leg, his tail was wagging the whole time we were in the waiting room and trying to play with the other dogs.
Which brings me to the point of this fundraiser. About a month ago while at the park, he was kicking his back legs like he sometimes does after using the bathroom and he let out a yelp. Afterwards, he wouldn't put his leg on the ground at all.
Fast forward a couple weeks and after multiple vet visits he is scheduled for surgery on April 14th. While kicking his leg, he tore two ligaments in his knee and the only two options for are surgery or managing his pain for the rest of his life.
From the time that Odin was born, he has had to fight. Since I have had him, I have tried to do what I can so that he only knows love and care. I don't want him struggling any more than he already is, but this is more than I can bear on my own. Any help that you can give is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
