Odin, my beloved one-eyed cat, has already overcome so much in her life. We rescued her from the animal shelter after she lost her eye to an infection, and she’s been a source of joy and comfort ever since. Now, she’s facing a tough new battle with her health. She’s been in and out of the vet clinic for severe dehydration, and while she gets better every time she’s on IV fluids, her condition worsens as soon as the treatment stops. She’s lost weight and her energy, and after trying everything else, the clinic now says exploratory surgery on her stomach and intestines is the last option left to help her recover.
This has all come at a really difficult time for me. I’m currently between jobs and doing my best to make ends meet by running DoorDash orders while searching for steady work. Covering my regular bills is already a challenge, and now Odin’s vet bills are more than I can handle on my own. I want to give her every chance to get better, but I can’t do it without help.
The funds raised here will go directly toward Odin’s surgery and any follow-up care she might need because of her current health crisis. I truly appreciate any support—whether it’s a kind word or a donation of any amount. Asking for help isn’t easy for me, but I’m desperate to save Odin and will do whatever it takes. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can give.
