Help Odin Fight Cancer: A Best Friend’s Battle
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cassie, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and hope for a miracle. My dog, Odin, is not just a pet—he is my best friend, my soul dog, and the love of my life. Recently, Odin was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called *apocrine gland anal sac adenocarcinoma*. This devastating diagnosis has turned our world upside down.
Odin will need surgery to remove the tumor, his anal gland, and three lymph nodes where the cancer has spread to. Following surgery, he will undergo chemotherapy treatments every three weeks for a total of five rounds. Additionally, he will need ongoing monitoring with ultrasounds, x-rays, and blood work every three months during the first year, followed by regular check-ups every six months for life.
The cost of his treatment this year alone will be upwards of $15,000. I’m not one to ask for help, and this is incredibly difficult for me, especially considering the challenges we’ve faced over the past year—our basement flooding, a car accident, and an emergency surgery for my partner, Alex. We’ve been through so much, but I cannot imagine my life without Odin. He has been my constant, my source of joy and comfort, and now he needs us to fight for his life.
We are humbly asking for your support to help cover his medical expenses, so he can get the treatment he needs to beat this cancer. Any contribution, no matter the size, will mean the world to us.
Additionally, we plan to donate a portion of the funds raised to the *OVC Pet Trust*, a fund that supports animal health and cancer research in companion animals. This will help future pets who, like Odin, face the battle of their lives.
Thank you so much for considering supporting Odin’s journey. Your love, kindness, and generosity will make all the difference in the world.
With love and gratitude,
The Corradi Family
