Oden has been a special part of my life since he was just a six-week-old puppy. As someone who has always adopted and cared for senior dogs, Oden was my first experience raising a puppy from such a young age. Over the last few years, he has brought so much joy and love into my home. Unfortunately, last year Oden was diagnosed with Addison’s disease, which led to a life-threatening crisis. We rushed him to the emergency vet, and after nearly a week of intensive treatment, he pulled through thanks to the incredible care he received. The experience was terrifying, but I was so grateful to have more time with him, even though it left me with significant vet bills.

I hoped that after everything we’d been through, Oden would be in the clear. But just two nights ago, he faced another emergency—this time a stomach and intestinal blockage that required immediate surgery. If we hadn’t gotten him to the vet when we did, he wouldn’t have made it. As an avid animal lover, I am committed to doing everything I can to save Oden, but the financial burden has become overwhelming.
