Help Odane with Tami's funeral expenses

Donation protected

We are all blessed with time. Some of us are blessed with enough time to watch our grand kids have grand kids and other's, like my sister in law Tami Todd, is only blessed with enough time to offer 3 beautiful children to spread her light in this world before her time expired at a young 31 years.

About a month ago, Tami went to the hospital after a few days of not feeling well. After multiple tests, they found lesions in her liver which lead them to find that she had stage 4 Cancer that has metastasized throughout her body. After agreeing to treatment to assist in her journey back to good health she wasn't able to survive longer than a couple days of chemo.

Tami Todd was an incredibly vibrant human being. Her smile always made you feel welcome and her kindness could be felt through every moment you spent with her. She was my sister in law, but she meant so much more to me.

She exemplified the definition of family. She found every excuse to bring the Todd and Kee family together. I cannot explain how much that means to the Todd family, because we are all separated in different states and countries. She won us all over with her genuineness and commitment to sharing joy. This is where I spent my Christmas for the past 4 years on and off due to Covid.

She continued and implemented family traditions that involved bringing us all together on Christmas and Thanksgiving regardless of the financial stress it placed on the family. She valued family over everything.

She is a kindred spirit that this world will surely miss but I know her mother Tina, my brother Odane, her children Macie, Madix, Laila, her close friends, and I will miss her more than we can ever imagine.

We are going to miss her lovable laugh, her goofy personality, her levelheadedness, her compassion for strangers, her pure heart, her obsession with holiday decorations, her love for good Jamaican food, her meaningful hugs, her commitment to family, her love for fashion/beauty, her singing voice when she happy, her tears when she is sad, her ability to get lost in a Netflix series, the unwavering love for her children, and the inspiration she instilled in my brother to be the best father he could be.

There is so much to beauty and personal memories I could share with you about the late Tami Todd but as a family my brother needs as much help as he can get. As an active veteran of the US ARMY he is now a windowed dad of 3 burying his beautiful wife with an overwhelming funeral expense that will be a challenge to tackle on his own.

In addition, her mother, Tina Kee, has lost her only 2 daughters within a little over a years time. Please keep her in prayers as bears the pain of losing yet another child so soon. Christina Kee in March of 2019 and now Tami Todd in June of 2021.

Sincerely, any dollar amount helps, as it all adds up.

To be honest, we did not realize the entirety of the impact Tami had on so many of your lives, and we are so grateful to all of you who were there for her throughout her short battle with cancer.

Thanking you in advance,
