Help Octavia Study Abroad in Europe May 2019

After 28 years in corporate America, my role was eliminated. I was not sure what my next move would we, however, I knew it would be great. I set on a journey that led me to college to live out my dream of pursuing Legal Studies. So much happened in the last year, I dropped 20lbs, I am no longer on diabetic medication, and at peace. I have a fantastic opportunity to Study Abroad in May-June 2019. The trip includes Scotland and England to study Statistics from contrast and comparison between the United States and Europe. Both locations are on my bucket list! Fortunately, the school received an endowment that could be used for scholarships. I applied and won a small award. Sadly, it does not cover the entire cost. This is where you all can help me! I need to raise $3,000 for the trip. If I have ever purchased gift wrap, chocolate candy, cookies, greeting cards, Avon, Mary Kay, etc. - Prayerfully consider helping me.
I love you all for sowing into my future! Who knows, I may be on your legal team at some point!

This immersive trip to the United Kingdom, you can complete your math class in three locations, including Edinburgh, Scotland; Oxford, England; and London, England. In the first two locations, students will stay with local families in their homes. Students will eat dinner with their host family every night and get to spend one full day with their family in Scotland. While this may sound a little scary at first, homestays will give you a real feel for what life is like in Scotland and England. Host families go through a background check to ensure safety.
During the day, the family will drop students off at a meeting location and then students will spend the day with the program leaders and tour guide doing all sorts of activities collecting information.
In Edinburgh, Scotland, the group will visit castles, a weaving mill, tour a rugby stadium, cruise the Lock Katrine, eat in a traditional Scottish pub, and more. In Oxford, the group will do a scavenger hunt, go on a bike tour, see Stonehenge, visit castles, eat at a traditional English countryside pub, visit the Harry Potter Studio tour, and more.
After Oxford, England, the group will go to London, England to stay in a hotel for five nights. In London, England, the group will go on a canal tour, visit the Shakespeare Globe Theater, see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, and more. During the time spent in London, we will collect data and information to compare to some of our other experiences. For example, students will analyze the rugby stadium to the Arsenal stadium. They will also see how many possible meal options they had at each of the traditional pubs.
In this program, students have the unique opportunity to take a math class without a single test, visit Universal Studios in Orlando and compare it to the Harry Potter studio in London, visit a small, medium, and large city in the United Kingdom for a significant amount of time, and compare and analyze many aspects of the experience.
