Octavia Wise is an 8-year-old beauty queen with a heart full of ambition and kindness. As the current 2026 ABP Little Miss New Year, she has already made her community proud by earning the title of 2026 Little Miss Southern Illinois. Her journey doesn’t stop there—by winning Little Miss New Year, Octavia has qualified to represent the entire Southern Illinois area at the ABP National Pageant in Nashville, Tennessee this September. This is a huge honor and an exciting opportunity for her to shine on a national stage.
But Octavia’s dreams go beyond the pageant world. Inspired by her visits to local retirement and rehabilitation facilities, she wants to launch a community project called Silver Socks. During her visits, she learned that the number one request from residents is for fun, cozy socks to brighten their days, especially during the winter months. Octavia’s goal is to provide every resident with at least one or two pairs of these cheerful socks, spreading warmth and smiles throughout the community.
We are raising funds to help cover Octavia’s pageant entry fee and travel expenses to Nashville, as well as to purchase supplies for her Silver Socks project.
