Hello, my name is Oamen Simbiat Sharon, and I have been officially accepted to pursue a master's degree in physics and Astronomy at the University of Vale do Paraíba (UNIVAP), Brazil, specializing in Space Physics.

This is a dream come true for me — an opportunity to gain advanced knowledge, work with experienced researchers, and contribute to space science development in Africa. I have been awarded a full tuition waiver and a monthly scholarship from Brazil’s National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, which will cover my living expenses during my studies.

However, the scholarship does not cover my visa processing and travel costs from Nigeria to Brazil. I must be physically present in São José dos Campos by August 11, 2025 to start my program. As it is now, I still have till early September to be there physically If I hasten the process
