Hi, our names are Cheyenne and Braydun, and we’re both 19 years old. We never thought we’d be in a position where we had to ask strangers for help, but we’re here because we don’t know what else to do.

Our 6-month-old puppy, Oakley, recently broke her front leg badly — a full fracture just above her wrist. The vet told us she needs to see an orthopedic specialist immediately, and surgery or possible amputation may be the only options to keep her from living in pain.

Oakley is our baby. She’s playful, loving, and full of energy. She doesn’t understand why she can’t run or play right now — she just wants to be with us. Watching her struggle has been heartbreaking.

We’re doing everything we can, but the cost of surgery, exams, X-rays, medications, and recovery is far more than we can afford. At 19, we simply don’t have thousands of dollars saved, and the stress of trying to figure this out has been overwhelming.
