Help Oakley Lennon's Fight for Life

Donation protected

Our granddaughter, Oakley Lennon was born nearly 17 weeks premature February 11th, 2024 weighing 1.2 lbs. She is a mighty fighter having had surgery at two days old for a torn intestine requiring a colostomy bag. She was also diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus in which we had hoped the duct would close. However this did not occur as we had prayed and now our precious Oakley Lennon has been diagnosed with Coarctation of the Aorta and is in the process of being airlifted from Carle Hospital in Urbana Illinois to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri for an emergency heart surgery. While we know we can try to get assistance from the Ronald Mcdonald House we have no guarantees and even if that occurs our daughter is struggling. Our daughter has been struggling to pay basic finances due to the inability to work. This stay will be at a minimum of months as she also requires a colostomy reversal and appendix removal which we were told Barnes would do once she has healed from her heart surgery. All the while our daughter has been unable to work since February but still has bills coming in she cannot pay such as electric, rent, water and gas to drive back and forth to the NICU twice daily. We have helped as a family as much as we can and are imploring anyone who can assist even the smallest amount would be forever grateful. We appreciate any prayers as well.

Any donations go directly into our daughter Shelby's bank and will be used as specified...
