Help Oakley get well

Hi Friends,

 

Oakley was injured Sunday Night 9/20/2021 when he was with his owner Taylor and her friends and was involved in a fatal accident on Hwy 85 near Trinity and Archdale. Oakley was thrown out of the vehicle along with all passengers.

While the passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries, Oakley was going to be left on the side of the road to suffer. The owner, Taylor asked myself and my wife to take him to the vet and we did just that.

He suffered a broken leg along with some fluids in his stomach and is in need of surgical procedure to fix his leg.

Emergency vet charged the family $2691 for a night stay and x-rays and a emergency check up. He is at his regular vet waiting to get his leg repaired and may require pins to fix it.

This site is being set up to help Taylor and her family pay for part of the vet bills so they can concentrate on coping with a loss of a friend that died at the accident and Taylor's injuries.

The vet was able to set his bone with out surgery or pins.   The owner was able to take him home today thanks to everyone’s support and donations
