Supporting Iziah & His Best Friend

Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend, Iziah, and his beloved golden retriever, Oakley.

Oakley is a 7-year-old bundle of love, loyalty, and light. He’s the kind of dog who makes everyone feel like they’re the most important person in the world — the kind who greets you with a wagging tail, leans in for a cuddle, and makes even the hardest days better. He’s been by Iziah’s side through thick and thin, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.

Recently, Oakley was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer that, while serious, is treatable with chemotherapy. His veterinary team believes that with proper treatment, Oakley has a strong chance of remission and more joyful years ahead.

But here’s the difficult part — the cost.

Oakley needs weekly chemotherapy treatments for 6 months, and the total estimated cost is VERY expensive. It’s a heartbreaking amount for one person to shoulder, which is why I’m reaching out to ask for help.

Your donation will go directly toward Oakley’s:

• Weekly chemotherapy sessions

• Diagnostic tests and bloodwork

• Supportive medications and vet visits

Iziah would never ask for this himself — but I know how deeply he loves Oakley, and how devastating it’s been to face this diagnosis. I also know how much Oakley has meant to so many people.
