Help Oakley Fight Leukemia with the Strength of Her Name
Donation protected
Our sweet six-year-old daughter Oakley was just diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. One week she was twirling in her unicorn dress and playing with her siblings—Eli (8), Khodi (4), and our dog River—and now she’s fighting for her life.
Oakley loves anything pink, unicorns, axolotls, and dreams of visiting Oklahoma because it sounds like her name. We named her Oakley after the strength of the oak tree… we had no idea how much strength she’d need.
We are asking for help during this overwhelming time. Donations will go toward medical bills, travel, lodging, meals, and everything we need to keep our family together while Oakley goes through treatment. Mom will be unable to work so she can stay with Oakley at the hospital. She’s at John Hopkins in Baltimore, MD and just started her 30 days of induction chemo regimen until she can be transferred for in-home/outpatient care for the next 2-3 years.
We’re asking for just $10 from each person. If 2,700 people give just $10, we’ll hit our goal. No amount is too small, and every share, prayer, and dollar counts.
Please consider donating and sharing this with your friends .
We never thought we’d be here. Thank you for anything you can give, for sharing this, and for praying with us.
With love,
The Avalos Family - Bethany, Chad, Eli, Oakley, Khodi, and River.
