We are raising funds to help our 10-month-old dog, Oaklee, get the care he urgently needs after being diagnosed with megaesophagus and a current infection. Mega esophagus is a condition that prevents food from reaching his stomach, instead it stays stuck in his throat. This leads to constant regurgitation, weight loss, and high risks of aspiration pneumonia. Since he was a puppy, Oaklee has struggled to keep food down, and we finally have answers—but now we’re facing expensive vet bills just to begin helping him. His initial visit alone was over $600, and he now needs to see a specialist, along with ongoing treatment and care. I come from a single-parent household, and my mom works as a hairdresser. We are doing everything we can, but the costs are quickly becoming overwhelming. Oaklee means everything to us. We recently lost our last dog to diabetes. We just want the chance to give Oaklee a healthy, comfortable life.

We are hoping to get him to a specialist soon to understand his treatment options and give him the best possible chance.
