On Tuesday July 28th, my 12 week old service dog in training Nyx was attacked by an unknown dog & suffered severe lacerations to the face, resulting in needing a man immediate eyelid reconstructive surgery that included many stitches & a plastic tube coming out of her face for drainage. Due to the vet not willing to perform surgery before payment, we had to come up with the money quick in order to save her life. Fortunately the breeder of my other Personal dog immediately paid the bill, but it came at a cost, I lost my personal dog. My goal is to hopefully be able to raise the money to buy back my personal dog, or at least get Nyx’s continued treatment taken care of. I feel defeated at this point, & as much as I hate asking for help, I really want my dog back & I really want my service dog in training to heal properly in order to continue her chance in her career.
