My name is Nyx, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a really tough time with my health and finances. Over the past few months, I’ve had to visit five different emergency care centers to try and get help with removing a low-lying IUD that’s become embedded in my cervix wall. Each visit has been stressful and expensive, and despite my best efforts, I now need surgery to resolve the issue. On top of that, I have to restart physical therapy for my rotator cuff, which has only added to my growing medical debt.
The hospital bills from all of this are likely to be more than I can earn in a year. The financial strain is overwhelming, and I’m doing my best to keep up, but it’s becoming impossible to manage on my own. The funds I raise here will go directly toward covering the costs of surgery, paying off my medical debt, and helping with copays for ongoing care and therapy.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I’ve always been scared to reach out for help like this, but I have a bit of hope that with your support, I can get through this difficult time. And if I can offer any advice from my experience, it’s this: never get an IUD. Your kindness and generosity mean more than I can say.
