Labor and Delivery nurses at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital are currently on strike and have been without pay for three weeks as they stand up for safe staffing, patient safety, and fair working conditions.
These nurses dedicate their lives to caring for mothers, babies, and families during some of the most critical and emotional moments imaginable. Now, while continuing to advocate for safe care and professional standards, they are facing significant financial hardship.
During this strike, nurses are receiving no income, yet everyday expenses continue — rent or mortgage payments, utilities, childcare, transportation, groceries, medical bills, and student loans. Many are struggling to keep up while remaining committed to doing what’s right for their patients and profession.
This GoFundMe is intended to provide direct financial relief to help Labor & Delivery nurses cover essential living expenses during this difficult time. Any contribution — no matter the size — will help ease the burden and allow these nurses to continue advocating without fear of losing their homes or falling behind on bills.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is also a powerful way to show support.
Thank you for standing with nurses who stand up every day for families, newborns, and safe patient care.
