My daughter, Nyla, is a dedicated Pre-med Post Baccalaureate student. I am writing to humbly request a donation to help fund her tuition as she pursues her lifelong dream of becoming a Pediatrician.
The Resilience of a Future Doctor
The path to medicine has been challenging, but it has only solidified her commitment. She has maintained high academic standing despite overcoming two major health setbacks, demonstrating the dedication required of a future doctor.
∙ During her undergraduate studies, she suffered a severe concussion that caused headaches, dizziness, and memory loss. Despite being six hours away from home, she refused to take a leave of absence, commuting weekly for physical therapy while continuing her coursework.
∙ More recently, she persevered through two semesters of debilitating, undiagnosed abdominal pain. Yet, she remained steadfast, ending the school year with A's and B's, and even completed a summer internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This perseverance through hardship is a glimpse of how passionately she is driven towards this profession.
The Specific Need
I have utilized all available resources to manage her pre-med academic costs, but there is currently a past due balance of $2800 that must be paid before she is dis-enrolled from the program by January 20th and a current balance of $4300 for the spring semester. Your generous contribution, no matter the amount, would directly remove this critical financial barrier, allowing Nyla to focus entirely on her final studies before applying to medical school.
Thank you again for your time and belief in a future doctor for the community.
