Hi everyone,

This is incredibly hard for me to write, and I never imagined I’d be in a position where I needed to ask for help. My dog, Nyla, is only 3 years old, and she has recently been diagnosed with a condition that requires surgery on both of her back legs.

The cartilage in her knees has deteriorated due to a genetic condition, and as a result, she’s been living with constant pain. At just 3 years old, Nyla shouldn’t be struggling to walk or feeling uncomfortable every day. Seeing her like this has been heartbreaking.

Right now, she’s on pain medication to help manage her discomfort, but the monthly costs are adding up quickly. I’ve already maxed out her insurance, and I’ve reached a point where I can’t afford to do more on my own. The surgeries she needs are the only real chance she has to live a pain-free, happy life again.

Asking for help doesn’t come easily to me, and I feel very uncomfortable even typing this. But Nyla means the world to me, and I’ll do anything I can to help her heal.
