Help Nykol Move Home

Hello! My name is Nykol and I've recently made plans to move home to my family and friends in Chicago, IL. I've been living (read: struggling) in NYC for 7 months, on and off full time jobs, part time jobs, sharing a studio apartment with an ex, and successfully overcoming a schizoaffective disorder. It's been stressful and weird and I'm ready to return to the safety and love of home, for my well-being and peace of mind.

This plan has been majorly derailed: I had given 3 weeks notice to my job and planned on using my final paycheck for moving expenses, but my employer notified me yesterday that I would not be receiving that due to my employer forgetting to deduct insurance premiums from my paycheck, for the duration of me working there. This was completely the mistake of my employer, and I was offered no other choice. Yesterday was my last day and my ability to pay bills, rent, and to move have been entirely squashed. I have informed my landlord that I cannot pay my portion of the rent and will be moving out ASAP. I have until January 15th to secure transportation out of here.

I am asking for emergency help to cover 500 dollars worth of bills (IRS payment, loan payment, remaining utilities, medication) and 350 dollars for a rental vehicle to move me back. In the meantime, I will be working part time gigs, selling my sewing designs and garments, and doing absolutely everything I can to keep my head above water.
