Hello my name is Nykeonna Pace and together with my mother, Tiffany Davenport and aunt, Latoya Middleton, we’re doing everything we can to raise the funds needed to repair our grandparents’ home.
Our grandparents, Willie and Annie Brandon of Moss Point, Ms, are 84 and 88 years old. They’ve been married since 1971 and have been inseparable ever since. Their love is the kind of love that inspires everyone around them; strong, faithful, and full of grace
Recently, our grandmother became very ill and spent over a month in the hospital. She was eventually discharged on hospice care with stage 5 renal disease and other health conditions. She’s currently staying with our uncle because their home is no longer safe for her to live in. Her health continues to decline, and we know our time with her is limited. But our greatest wish is to bring her back home, where she’s happiest, surrounded by the love and memories she and Grandpa built together.
Our grandfather, who is wheelchair-bound, has made it clear that he wants to stay in the home they worked so hard to build. We gave him our word that we’d bring Grandma back home to him, and we are determined to keep that promise.
We’ve already begun the repairs, but since the house was built in the 1950s and hasn’t been updated in decades, we’ve run into more issues than expected. From plumbing to electrical and structural repairs. We’ve covered what we can, but there’s only so much the three of us can afford on our own.
We’ll also be vlogging the process so you can see how every dollar is being used and how much this means to our family.
Please help us fulfill our promise and bring our grandparents back together in their home where their love story began and where it deserves to continue. ❤️
Update: We were fighting every day to get her and my grandpa’s home repaired quickly enough so she could return to the place where she felt most at peace, the home she and Grandpa built together.
On November 15, 2025, our sweet grandmother passed away, surrounded by love. Even though we were not able to bring her home in time, we are holding tight to her memory and to the promise we made to our grandfather. Though we are unable to fulfill our promise to bring Grandma back home to him, we are committed to finishing the repairs and renewing their home in her honor.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to honoring Grandma’s memory and giving Grandpa a safe place to return to. We will continue to vlog and share updates so you can see exactly how your generosity is helping rebuild not just a home, but a piece of our family’s history.
Thank you so much for your kindness, your prayers, and your support during this heartbreaking time. And a special Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. It means more to us than words can express. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
The Brandon Family
