Help Small NYC Cat Rescue: $10K Ear Surgery for Molly!
Tax deductible
UPDATE 6/23:
Our Molly is not doing well during her recovery from her ear canal ablation and is headed back to be readmitted to AMC today, likely for a feeding tube. We will get her through this, but we need your support. We haven’t even reached the halfway point of our original amount, and that $10,000 has already been used up on her CT scan/surgery/original hospital stay. Now she will need more nights in the hospital, which is many more thousands of dollars. Please help us spread the word. You can visit us on Instagram @Mighty Mutts to learn more!

At Ollie’s Place we’ve seen our fair share of miracles—and precious Molly is no exception!
When Molly first arrived at our adoption center, she was a shut-down, fearful little soul. She stayed in her crate for months, barely eating, curled up tight in her bread loaf bed, hiding from the world. The pain she carried—both physical and emotional—is sadly the norm for cats who have suffered for years on the streets.
Over the past 6 months, under the gentle, patient care of our incredible volunteers, and months of ear treatments, Molly has blossomed into the silliest, most playful, joy-filled cat you can imagine. Her transformation has been nothing short of extraordinary. She is ready to be adopted. and finally begin the rest of her life!
But there’s one final hurdle standing in her way.
Molly has a mass deep in her ear canal that is causing her discomfort and severe infection. The only option is a complex and delicate surgery: a total ear canal ablation with bulla osteotomy, preceded by a CT scan to guide the procedure. This must be performed at the Animal Medical Center (AMC) in Manhattan.
The full cost: $10,000 minimum
This is a staggering amount for our small rescue—especially in a year when we barely raised enough to cover our rent. But Molly deserves this chance and we would never give up on her. Not when she’s come so far. Not when a whole decade of love, sunbeams, and couch cuddles could still be ahead of her.
Molly has fought hard to find her spirit again. She has discovered what it means to trust, to play, to pounce, and purr. With this surgery, she can finally put her pain behind her and step fully into the happy, healthy life she’s meant to have—with a forever family of her own.
Please, help us give Molly her future.
Every dollar brings her closer to the care she desperately needs. Even if you can’t give, sharing this campaign can make all the difference.
From all of us at Mighty Mutts and Ollie’s Place—and from Molly herself—thank you for believing in second chances.
