Hi everyone!

My name is Ny, and I’m reaching out during a tricky time for my family and I. I’m currently on leave, home full-time with my son, and trying to hold everything together — but my car has issues that no mechanic can seem to find an answer to or fix which leaves us in a bind. We can be driving one moment and my car will completely stop another moment.

I rely on my car to get to important appointments, to shop for groceries, and to take care of my son’s basic needs. We’ve been managing the best we can, but without a working car, even simple errands have become overwhelming. I’ve been dealing with ongoing car issues (stalling out, not starting, and other mechanical problems), and at this point, repairs are either too expensive or may not even fix the problem for long. I’m trying to raise enough either to fix the car or put a down payment on something more reliable.

Right now, every bit of savings I have is already going toward rent, car payments, insurance, baby supplies, and other essential bills. I never imagined having to ask for help like this, but I’m at the point where I need to reach out to my community. Any donation, no matter the size, would help lift an enormous weight and help me get safely back on the road.
