Northwest Dog Project desperately needs a cargo style van that can safely move all of the dogs at our facility off the property in case of an emergency. You can help us make it happen!
As you can imagine there's a lot of transporting that goes on around here. From early morning pick ups of new pups, routine vet visits, emergency vet trips, to enrichments activities like "off-campus" day trips to the coast or lakes.
One of our wonderful Board members donated an old Chevy Tahoe to us when we first started saving dogs. We’ve made incredible and tireless use of it, but it's on it's last legs and no longer meets our needs.
We are now able to have more dogs at our facility (GREAT!) than we can safely transport off the property (NOT GREAT) in case of an emergency. This has us freaked out as fire season approaches. We need a cargo-style van that we can safely load/stack crates in ASAP. We are currently looking at used Transit Connects or something equivalent.
We have a very generous anonymous donor who is willing to match up to 5k in donations for this fundraiser! Here’s where you come in - we need to raise 5-7k in order to be able to purchase a used van that will meet our needs.
Every penny counts and can get us to our goal in no time. If all you have to spare is $1 please send it our way and know that your donation of any amount DOES make a difference.
