Help a fellow FA Recover from Car Accident and Job Risk

Hi, my name is Nur. I’m 23 years old and currently working as a flight attendant.

On April 12th, 2025, I was involved in a car accident on my way to work due to the heavy snow in Connecticut. My car slid and collided with another vehicle. The car is leaking oil and the engine will blow up if I move the car slightly. Unfortunately, my insurance won’t cover the damages, and the other passengers are now requesting a cash payment.

Because of the accident, I was also late to work and now facing the risk of losing my job. It’s been extremely difficult trying to keep up with bills and debts while going through all of this. I don’t earned much working as a flight attendant. Mostly I make annually is roughly 20,000. I love my job but this has been the most difficult time for me. I’m doing my best to stay strong, but right now, I really need some support.

A little update, I took my car to the shop and the damage seemed to be worse than what it seems from the outside. Due to the car leaking oil and the engine is gone now. The cost to fix the car worth more than the car. They said it’s totaled. 

My work place is 30 min away and getting another car is impossible at the moment with everything going on. Im trying to save up and get a cheap car. I would totally appreciate if anyone helps me out a little bit financially.
