My name is Nuniece “NuNu” Hernandez, a mother from West Texas who has always been the primary provider for my children.
For years I have worked hard to support my family while helping others improve their financial futures through credit education, tax preparation, budgeting guidance, and financial literacy.
Since 2022, I have worked primarily from home so I could provide for my children while also being present in their lives. During that time I completed my Texas Real Estate education hours and am currently one exam away from becoming licensed through the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).
I have also worked in multiple industries to support my family including:
• Credit education and legal credit repair assistance
• Helping families qualify for and purchase their dream homes
• Oil & Gas sales
• Bitcoin mining operations
• Forex trading and teaching others how to trade
• Financial literacy training focused on budgeting, saving, and mental health awareness
Helping people rebuild their lives financially and emotionally has always been my mission.
Unfortunately, over the past several months my life changed drastically.
In October, I suffered a severe knee injury that left me unable to walk properly. From October through December, I was largely bedbound while trying to recover.
On January 10th, I was hospitalized during a period of extreme stress and remained there until January 29th.
During this time, my children were removed from their schools and several events occurred that disrupted both my home and my business operations. These matters are currently being addressed through legal representation.
Shortly after my hospitalization, I also lost access to stable housing. On February 17th, I officially became homeless while trying to rebuild everything from the ground up.
At the same time, many of my personal belongings, credit cards, and business tools were lost or taken. My car was also stolen, leaving me without reliable transportation. Currently I am getting around on foot or using Uber while doing everything I can to continue working and rebuilding.
As a mother, I have always carried the financial responsibility for my children largely on my own. One of the fathers currently owes over $17,000 in back child support, and my other children’s father has never paid child support through Texas attorney general.
Despite everything that has happened, I refuse to give up.
I have already personally paid $4,000 toward legal representation to fight for my parental rights and protect my family. I currently need $6,000 more in legal funds to continue this process and properly defend my case.
At the same time, I am actively working for the past 3 months non stop to rebuild stability.
I have recently been recruited by Crunch Fitness for a personal training opportunity, but I must first pay for my certification in order to begin training clients. I have also applied for a server position at Cracker Barrel and am even willing to take janitorial work at Crunch Fitness because I am determined to rebuild and support my family again.
Recently I was able to secure a small amount of food assistance and a phone plan so I can stay connected and continue working while rebuilding.
This fundraiser will help with:
• Remaining legal fees needed to continue my custody case
• Temporary housing while rebuilding stability
• Transportation while I am currently without a vehicle
• Personal training certification so I can begin working at Crunch Fitness
• Medical recovery related to my knee injury
• Basic necessities while I work toward stability
I have spent years helping other families rebuild their finances and achieve stability. Today I am asking for help while I rebuild my own life so I can reunite with my children and return to being the provider they deserve.
Any donation, prayer, or share truly means more than words can express.
Thank you for believing in my recovery and my future.
