Help Us Afford the Twilight of Nugget's Life

As of this month of October, Nugget has entered her 14th year of life. Tragically, it will most likely be her last - a few months ago, she was diagnosed with right-side heart failure, brought on by pulmonary hypertension. Or, in other words, being the dog equivalent of ~90 years-old.

The medical care she has been receiving the past few months has helped to keep her comfortable, but we are starting to hit the end of what we've been able to afford, especially after an especially slow summer for the service industry. As such, Evian and Tylyn are starting this fundraiser to raise funds for her to stay with us the next few months in comfort.

The bulk of this funding will go towards her medication and treatment, so that we get as much time with her as we can, while keeping her comfortable and (relatively) healthy.

In preparation of the future, we have also budgeted for this fundraiser to include her eventual hospice care as well. It will ensure that when it is time for her to pass, she can do so at home surrounded by the humans who have loved her for 13 and 7 years (Evian and Tylyn, respectively), as well as respectful handling of her remains.
