Help Nugget get her wiggle back!
Hello my name is Nugget I am a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, I am just six years old. My favorite activities are going on walks with my fur mom and furiends at the Cumberland Monastery and swimming in any and all bodies of water. Currently those play dates are on paws. A few days ago I was rushed to the Ocean State Veterinary Hospital. I did not feel well, my back was trembling and I could not put pressure on my back legs. Mom and I were very nervous and scared. The kindest Doctors & Nurses suggested an emergency MRI on my back. The MRI showed that I had a slipped disc that was putting pressure on my spinal cord. The only way to help me walk again was to get surgery on my back. Doctors said I was the strongest Corgi!
I am currently recovering at the Hospital, unable to see my mom or friends : (. Going forward to regain my strength I will be required to go to physical therapy, water therapy, massage therapy and get acupuncture. It could take a full year of care, love and support to fully recover.
Your support will mean the world to me and my fur mom, it will allow us get the therapy we need to thrive. I can't wait to be on my feet again, running with friends and back to my sassy self!
