Nugget/Nug/Nug-Bug/Nuggy/Big Lug is a sturdy pillar of strength, happiness and friendship to my wife, our dog Loki, our cat Mini and our cat Leia. She is an integral part of the family that has been suffering from vertigo and intense pain since 4/23 and we have yet to figure out what the problem is due to the high cost of vet bills.

Three years ago, we lost our previous French bulldog (Lila) to a traumatic hit-and-run accident that left us devastated. Nugget helped us slowly heal the hole in our hearts by being by our side through every challenge, including our move from Ohio to Florida, deaths in our family and my recent unemployment.

Recently, Nugget became unable to stand and walk straight. She has been sluggish/lethargic and sometimes cries out in pain when moving. This is what led us to believe it to be a form of some vestibular disease. It’s been heartbreaking to watch her struggle to walk, stand, eat, drink and play with her siblings. The uncertainty of her diagnoses is what terrifies us and the costs involved have quickly become overwhelming on our current budget.

Any funds raised will go directly toward the tests needed to diagnose her condition, any surgery that may be required, medications, and general pet care bills. Your support means everything to us.
