We are raising money for the Nuer Medical Health Team and the objective of this GoFundMe is to:
Help Provide Medical Aid for Malnourished Children and Pregnant Women in the Nuer region of South Sudan.
We are urgently raising funds to provide critical medical supplies and nutrition to children and pregnant women in the Nuer region of South Sudan, who are facing a dire humanitarian crisis.
Why We Need Your Help:
Recently, the South Sudanese government and Uganda launched an airstrike campaign using barrel bombs on Nuer civilian towns, causing devastating destruction and loss of life. As a result, hospitals and clinics in the region are overwhelmed and unable to cope with the growing number of casualties.
Even more concerning, USAID has ceased its support to area hospitals and clinics, and the situation is worsening. The Nuer region, home to a large number of vulnerable populations, is at immediate risk of running out of essential medical supplies.
The number of malnourished individuals, especially children and pregnant women, has dramatically increased. Without intervention, many will not survive the combination of war and starvation.
How We Will Use Your Donation: Your generous contributions will directly support medical teams on the ground in South Sudan. Funds raised will go towards purchasing critical medical supplies, including basic healthcare items and CSB (Corn-Soya Blend) for malnourished children and pregnant women.
We will ensure that every penny is sent to local medical teams in the Nuer region, working tirelessly to save lives in the face of overwhelming adversity.
Together, We Can Make a Difference: Your support will provide immediate relief to families in urgent need of care and will help ensure that medical professionals have the resources they need to continue their life-saving work. Every donation, no matter how small, has the power to save lives.
Please share this campaign and help spread the word about the urgent need for assistance in South Sudan.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity during this critical time.
Sincerely,
Nuer Medical Health Team
