Help Ntombi with expenses while she fights kidney failure

Hi! I’m Bart and I’ve had the pleasure to become friends and colleagues with Ntombi over the years. Ntombi has been working summers on Mackinac Island for many years and has become an icon for many of the visitors. Her bubbly personality and infectious laughter can turn around anyone’s day.

This year, Ntombi returned to Mackinac Island, but was hospitalized just a few days after returning. She was transported from Mackinac Island to Petoskey and has been hospitalized for two weeks. The doctors found her kidneys to be functioning at just 4%. Ntombi will need to do dialysis three times per week in order to stay alive.

Each year, Ntombi leaves her three children in South Africa to work on Mackinac Island. She has always wanted to provide a comfortable and safe life for her kids. Since she has been hospitalized and unable to work for two weeks, she hasn’t been able to provide them with the essentials they need.

Please consider donating to support Ntombi during this hard time in her life. She is so concerned about her family back home and needs as much love and support as she can get. In addition to her family back home, Ntombi will also need help with her upcoming medical bills.
