Help Néstor Wardi to get his wheel chair

A ROBY WHEELCHAIR FOR NÉSTOR

“WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS”

Hi, my name is Enrique Fabián Granados and I’m raising money to help my friend Néstor Wardi get a special wheelchair. I’ve known Néstor for a long time, when our families used to get together in our beautiful Tucumán, Argentina.

In November 2019, Néstor was involved in a motorcycle accident, where he fractured his jaw, punctured his right lung and suffered a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed. After 6 months in the intensive care unit, Néstor left the hospital and his life changed completely. Because of Covid-19, he could not go back to the hospital for the rehabilitation sessions, so for more than a year, he’s been using a regular wheelchair that gave him pressure ulcers in the back of his body.

As you can imagine, he could not go back to his regular job and also he could not perform his favorite hobby: “dancing”.

For that reason Néstor needs a special wheelchair, a Roby ki mobility chair and a bedsore cushion designed to avoid those painful ulcers.

In the past months I contacted a couple of wheelchair factories in Argentina and Spain, but the lowest price I got was around u$s 3,750. Few weeks ago I found an american company from Wisconsin called Rehab Pulse that gave me an estimated price that is much more affordable (u$s 2,146 plus accessories and the costs of shipment).

I’m trying to reach everyone I know, because I’m sure we can let Néstor have a better life. To help the word out, you can share the link to your Facebook Timeline and more of our friends and anybody who gets touched by this story, can help us to get the goal.
