Help Nrityamala Reach Nationals in Chicago

Hi! We are Nrityamala, the University of Pittsburgh's premier Indian classical dance team. Founded in 2006, our team consists of passionate dancers trained in various classical dance forms, including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, and Mohiniyattam. Nrityamala has played a significant role in inspiring young dancers to continue to learn and grow, and they constantly strive to promote respect and appreciation for the Indian arts and culture in the Pittsburgh community.

This season, we had the privilege of traveling to 3 intercollegiate competitions, and placing at all of them!! We have been selected to compete at the Origins Dance Championship, which will be held in Chicago on 12 April 2025. We are seeking your help to cover costs of attending our last and final competition of the season. Your generous donations will contribute towards covering registration fees, hotel accommodations, transportation, and miscellaneous competition expenses. We would love to showcase our hard work and dedication we have put in by presenting our captivating performances for families, friends and the dance community across the nation, all while sharing a compelling message through our piece!
