Help Nova with a healthy and successful new start.

Yesterday morning, I received a text message from a previous employee. She and her friend were extremely concerned with the well-being of a certain puppy and were looking for help to possibly rehome her.

After some back and forth, it became clear that Nova was in an unsafe situation and we needed to convince the owner to surrender her so she could get the medical assistance she needed.

Within an hour, the owner texted me and agreed to let me meet her. After a few minutes, Nova was handed over to me.

This morning, I took her to get a medical evaluation. She needed flea treatment, deworming, and all her vaccinations.

Food and toys have been donated.

The $800 is for everything she is going to need over the next few weeks while we fatten her up and get her on the right track for a successful puppyhood. This includes today's visit to the vet.

Nova is part German Shepherd and (possibly) Belgian Malinois. This mixed breed will need a very particular home.

Thank you for your help in caring for this very special pup. I will keep everyone up to date on her progress and potential adoption information.
