Help Nova Run Again: Support Her Surgery

Hi everyone!

On Easter Sunday, 4/20, our precious Nova was involved in a hit and run, leaving her with a broken femur on her left leg. We rushed her to the animal hospital immediately after seeing that she couldn’t stand on four legs and she was in deep pain. At the hospital, we were given two options: amputation or surgery repair. We definitely do not want to go the amputation route as she is still a pup, and her being a Belgian mix, she has every right to continue to grow and be able to run around freely and just live a happy life. My children are devastated to this day and keep on asking me when Nova is going to be able to play with them again. And all I can say to them is that it’ll take some time, but she will be back on her feet before we know it.

I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes that the community will help out with her surgery costs. I’ve called multiple surgery centers and they’ve all quoted me in the 6k range. Unfortunately, 6k is what we do not have since we’re constantly trying to find ways to make ends meet. But Nova does not deserve to be treated any less; she is our baby, our companion, she is our family. She deserves to get her surgery and be able to walk and run like the energetic pup that she is.
