Help Nova recover from her Rattlesnake bite

Our sweet little Nova is hurt and needs a lot of treatment over the next few weeks in order to recover. She lives the happiest life being free to roam her big yard out in the wooded area where we live, and sticks are her favorite toys. Unfortunately on Tuesday 8/31 little Nova was out playing with her sticks when she got attacked and bit in the face by a rattle snake. It has been a very hard and emotional few days for all of us.

While she is stable at this point she still has a long road of recovery and will have to lose her eye as soon as her face and body swelling decreases enough to operate. She required two doses of Antivenom because of the size and severity of the bite.

We are so humbled with the amount of prayers & well wishes we received for our sweet girl this week. If you feel called to help us financially with this situation, every little bit counts and we will be eternally grateful.

If you live in the Austin area please be on high alert over the next few weeks as it is baby rattlesnake season and we hope no one else has to go through this for their pets, or loved ones! Mother rattlesnakes will be very aggressive during this time, especially if they are nesting nearby.
